Data-Driven Decisions: Optimising Asset Performance

Managing a portfolio of assets can be challenging without reliable data. A client, previously reliant on spreadsheets and emails, lacked visibility into their assets’ performance. Shivendra and Co. implemented a comprehensive solution to optimise asset health. First, we categorised assets, identifying key data points for performance tracking. Partnering with an analytics expert, we designed and implemented APIs to capture real-time data from all assets within a tight 60-day period. Collaboration with field teams was crucial. By analysing data and pinpointing underperforming assets (below a 90% baseline), we implemented corrective actions. This resulted in a remarkable success rate, with 90% of assets exceeding performance targets within 60 days. Furthermore, real-time performance reports were established, incorporating weather considerations for a holistic view, providing the client with actionable insights for continuous improvement. Finally, we assisted in setting up a comprehensive Asset Management System, providing a robust platform for long-term operational efficiency.
