Following a recent acquisition, a growing company needed to integrate their IT infrastructure. While their vendor handled email successfully, a cohesive structure for collaboration tools particularly Microsoft Teams and SharePoint remained elusive. Shivendra and Co. stepped in to bridge the gap. We developed a framework, consulting stakeholders across departments to understand workflows and document needs. Based on this, we designed a SharePoint site and folder structure aligned with best practices and the company’s specific processes. Close collaboration with the IT vendor ensured seamless integration between Teams and SharePoint. Users could seamlessly work on files within Teams, with automatic updates in SharePoint. Access controls were established, granting appropriate permissions based on roles and functions. This comprehensive approach, implemented within six weeks per function, enabled the client with a streamlined and user-friendly IT environment, facilitating efficient collaboration across the newly integrated organisation.
